![]() I will explain: Warframes are basically the characters you play as each having very different stats and powers to make them unique. And imo the most important aspect of this game that should be highlighted is the fact that the developers are giving hints of making this game P2W. The constant reusing of level layouts will become apparent after a few missions and the MMO style ''kill dozens upon dozens of the same faceless mobs grinding will make the missions seems even more repetitive when you need about a days worth of grind plus the manufacturing time which is minimum 12 hours and can get up to days depending on the item on new weapons and warframes. This review is for a product that literally does not work at all for some people, so it's getting a zero. Watching the update bar fill and reset in the updater has not been a fun experience, and while it's been monetarily free, I would like to demand a refund of my time this game owes me a small portion of my life back. I haven't even been able to try the game, so maybe it's got some great game play, but from what I've read, I'm not missing out. The "It's free to play, what do you expect?" argument doesn't actually excuse it of it's shortcomings, and taking the "It's in beta, what do you expect?" argument is even worse with the context that they're willing to charge you for features. ![]() It would appear the only thing actually in beta is the updater, which keeps myself and others from even playing this game with it's constant, looping failures. Unless you are willing to tolerate doing literally the same things over and over again, and accepting that some aspects of the game will only be available if you spend money to acquire them in order to avoid a months long grind, do not play Warframe. With every update the game moves closer to a pay-to-progress model, locking away all the things needed to move beyond the mid game behind so many RNG walls that payment becomes all but a necessity. The entire game is designed around grinding, with enough RNG Walls to build a Random House.
